My Bio, AKA what makes me, me.
Hey Everyone, Firstly I want to take the time to thank you for taking your time to read my Bio. Jumping straight into the details, My name is Brendon Leigh. I'm proud to say I achieved two Formula One Sim Racing World championships, I've run multiple ultra marathons with the furthest being 100km (63 miles) non stop, completed in 17 hours and 4 minutes. Im 26 years old from Reading, United Kingdom. In the span of 8 seasons racing professionally in the Formula One Sim Racing World Championship I've had the blessing to race for Mercedes-Benz, Sauber motorsports and my personal Favorite. Scuderia Ferrari, who I spent two seasons racing for the prancing horse. 4 years after initially racing for the team, I have been selected to become an ambassador for Ferrari. Which for me, is a true honour and privilege. Back in 2017 I was training and working as a chef, just under 10 years later.. I'm with Ferrari and get to wear their badge with honour. Very much a pinch me moment, Another pinch me moment that I am very proud of, Is being entrusted by Silverstone race circuit to be an Instructor at their iconic track. Yeah, I'm a very lucky boy who gets to be on track and paid to coach the guests of Silverstone circuit. Currently working on their single seater arrive and drive experiences, away from racing. I enjoy studying my mind and the details of how life works. My simple goal is to maximise life. Live with no regrets, and die with no regrets. Memento Mori is a phase I embrace every hour, every day. I deeply believe in the beauty of life. Because one day, we may not have the gift of life. Thus even the days that present challenges, I remember to never hate the added challenges. It's why I loved every step of the ultra marathon I've run. I didn't know it at the time, but it was a metaphor for how I would later see life. Through embracing added challenges ( the ultra marathon ) we can enjoy the rewards of completing the challenge, ( the feeling of accomplishment, achieving what once seemed unlikely. Or even impossible)
So that's me, I like racing and I am drawn to challenges that once seemed impossible. While I am striving for a new challenge, I am happy. While I am static, I am not so happy. Oh and I like food, Lunch is often my main theme of conversation whilst planning a day. Thank you for taking the time to read an introduction to myself.
Hopefully you all have a great day
